Trainer Member Affiliate Programs

There are 2 SPCP Trainer Member Affiliate Programs.

1. CPCP Exam Affiliate Program

The trainer member will receive a 5% commission on all successful CPCP exam participants who register using the trainer member’s unique affiliate link.

2. Membership Affiliate Program

The trainer member will receive $15 per new SPCP memberships (Includes Associate & Professional Memberships).

How the affiliate programs work

Trainer Members who register for this program will receive a “unique affiliate link” to provide to students for registration for the CPCP exam or to join the SPCP. The link can be added to the Trainer Member’s website, emails, and social media.If the affiliate link is not used, the trainer member will not receive the credit.

The Trainer Member will have access to their “Affiliate Dashboard” from within the SPCP members portal at members.spcp.org > Affiliate

Payouts

It is the responsibility of the Trainer Member participant to visit the Dashboard and add their payout account details.

The payout amount report on the Dashboard is subject to change based on the pass or fail rate of the exam participants. This change will be made manually by the SPCP administration after each exam.

Payouts are made on a 30 day net; meaning you will receive payment on the 30th of the following month.

Enrolment in this program will be revoked if Trainer Member is no longer active and subscription is not current.

Online Course Affiliate Program

Showcase and sell your online training course on the SPCP Website!

How it works.

Trainer Members can feature 1 or 2 online courses on the SPCP website education page at https://spcp.org/education

The online course will need to meet or exceed SPCP course terms & conditions listed below.

+ The trainer member must have an affiliate program associated with the online learning platform that hosts the online course.

+ The affiliate program must have the following: automated affiliate payouts, affiliate dashboard, 20% affiliate payout to the SPCP

Terms & Conditions

1. The course cannot be a fundamental course.

2. There must be a form of instructor/student communication/feedback.

3. If certificates are provided, it must state that the course was given online (a virtual course) and include: course description & hours.

4. Instructors cannot “certify” students in any skill or technique unless they are an accredited learning institution. Certificates can say “Certificate of Attendance” or “Certificate of Course Completion.”

5. Trainers can set their own course prices; however, the affiliate payout or SPCP retention fee must remain at 20%.

6. If the trainer no longer qualifies as a Trainer Member, their courses will be removed from the website and the trainer will no longer qualify for this offer.

7. The trainer agrees to provide the SPCP with a free pass (temporary or permanent) to the course so that it can be reviewed to ascertain it is consistent with SPCP Trainer Guidelines, SPCP Standards, and the SPCP Code of Ethics.

2. We invite you to send us one post per year that will be posted for FREE on the official SPCP social media pages and members only groups. *Posts require approval by SPCP

3. The SPCP creates an introductory post about YOU on the SPCP social media sites. This post will highlight your career and include your Bio, Picture, Business Name, & Location.

How to Become an SPCP Trainer Member

**** YOU MUST BE A SPCP PROFESSIONAL OR LIFETIME MEMBER TO BECOME A TRAINER MEMBER ****

Trainer Membership is an addition to an SPCP Membership. If you are not an SPCP Professional or Lifetime member you can not apply for Trainer Membership. You can Apply for Professional Membership here

Requirements to apply and become a SPCP Trainer Member:

Before you begin the application, ensure you meet all the eligibility requirements and read the SPCP Trainer Member Guidelines.

  • Each trainer must be an existing SPCP Professional member or Lifetime Member

  • Each trainer must hold & maintain Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP) certification.

  • Each trainer will have a minimum of five (5) years of permanent cosmetic experience and have completed a minimum of three hundred (300) procedures for each procedure type that is being taught and must be verifiable.

  • To maintain Trainer Member status each Trainer will complete not less than sixteen (16) hours of continuing education over a two (2) year period. This may include attendance at conventions, virtual training, and other classes pertinent to the permanent cosmetics field.

  • Each trainer shall have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Each trainer must attend a Train the Trainer program (offered at least once a year) and renew it every four years.

    The Trainer Member application form includes uploading of all required documents. This must includes at least 1 copy of a current student curriculum for the training level you are applying to teach.

Requirements to maintain & renew SPCP Trainer Member:

Trainer Membership is valid for 4 years. At that time you will have to renew and re-qualify. This helps the SPCP ensure our Trainer Members continue to meet or exceed the high standards we encourage and promote.

Before you begin the application, ensure you meet all the eligibility requirements.

  • Trainer Member must be an existing SPCP Professional member or Lifetime Member

  • Trainer Member must hold current Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP) certification.

  • Trainer Members must have completed Train the Trainer either online or in person since their last renewal date.

  • Trainer Member will complete not less than sixteen (16) hours of continuing education over a two (2) year period.

    * This may include attendance at conventions, virtual training, and other classes pertinent to the permanent cosmetics field.

  • Trainer will be required to submit all documents including updated student curriculum.

    The Trainer Member renewal application form includes uploading of all required documents. This must includes at least 1 copy of a current student curriculum for the training level you are applying to teach.

FEES For Trainer Members

Application Fee:

There is a one-time non-refundable application fee of $100 USD to apply to become an SPCP trainer member. Once you meet all requirements and are approved you will be required to set up a trainer member subscription to receive your Trainer Member status.

Trainer Member Subscription

+ Annual $250 USD

Monthly payment plan available for $264.00 paid over 12 months at $22.00 USD per month.

NOTE:

  • This fee is in addition to your SPCP Professional & Lifetime Membership.

  • Trainer membership fee does not include Professional membership, Lifetime membership, CPCP, Supplier Membership or Train the Trainer Course.

  • Monthly payment plan is for an annual trainer membership & can not be cancelled within the 12 months.

  • If you pay trainer application or renewal fee but do not qualify, the payment is non-refundable and you will be required to pay the $100 application fee again when you re-apply.

The purchase of this book is valid for 20 Hours (CEU's) that be used towards your CPCP application or renewal. You will need your receipt of purchase to upload in application or renewal.

  • The Foundation of Fundamental Applications Second Ed Student Workbook. The purchase of this book is valid for 12 Hours (CEU's) that be used towards your CPCP application or renewal. You will need your receipt of purchase to upload in application or renewal.

  • Principles of Infection Control for the Tattoo Industry. The purchase of this book is valid for 3 Hours (CEU's) that be used towards your CPCP application or renewal. You will need your receipt of purchase to upload in application or renewal.

  • Glossary of Industry Terms - The purpose of this glossary was originally to assist those who are non-English speaking as their primary language to better understand some common terms used in the US that may not have clear translations into other languages. The glossary has since been expanded and can also serve as a study aid for candidates preparing for the CPCP examination who wish to review terminology.
